A1 Van Rental and Leasing Rental Policies
A1 Van Rental and Leasing has developed policies designed to comply with state, federal, and foreign country regulations, as well as all applicable regulations for insurance. Please review all regulations prior to the rental of your van and/or trailer to make the process of picking up your rental as easy as possible.Van Rental Age and License Requirements
Renters and all additional drivers must be over 25 years of age with a valid driver license issued in the U.S., Canada or Mexico. Driver licenses from other countries may be accepted after approval by management. A clear & legible photocopy of a driver license is required for the renter and all drivers. Copies of all driver licenses must be submitted prior to or at the time of rental. We will make copies of any licenses present at the time of rental. Faxed copies are not accepted unless approved by management.Additional Drivers for Van Rentals
Up to 3 additional drivers per vehicle rented will be allowed at no charge. Additional drivers must meet all of the age and license requirements stated above. Management must approve requests for more than 3 additional drivers.Van Rental Payment and Security Deposits
At the time the vehicle is rented, all renters must present a major credit card (not a debit or check card) in his or her name. The credit card must have available funds to secure the total cost of the rental plus an additional minimum-security deposit of $200 per vehicle. The security deposit amount may be increased if deemed necessary by management. Cash deposits are not accepted. The security deposit may be applied towards additional charges at the end of the rental including but not limited to; additional rental days, mileage charges, hourly late fees, fuel charges, lost keys, collision deductibles and/or damages to the rented vehicle. When the vehicle is returned, the renter may pay by cash, travelers check, money order, cashiers check, debit card or checking card. Payment is to be made in U.S. dollars.A1 Van Rental Accepts the Following Major Credit Cards
Van Rental Insurance and Counter Products
A collision damage waiver will be available for purchase at our rental counter. This coverage will include a collision deductible. In the event of an accident, payment of this deductible may be the responsibility of the renter.Personal Accident Coverage is also available for purchase at our rental counter to cover the renter and the passengers that occupy the rental vehicle.
If the renter declines the coverage offered by A-1 Leasing, Inc., the renter must provide proof of automobile insurance coverage at the time of rental. The renter's insurance policy must include full coverage (comprehensive and collision) insurance to cover the rented vehicle and its occupants. Some personal automobile policies and coverage offered through credit cards may not cover the 12 and 15 passenger vans. The renter may be held personally responsible for all damages to the rented vehicle, its occupants and damages to 3rd parties if this coverage is not provided. A-1 Leasing, Inc. rental vehicles are covered by a liability insurance policy of which the terms of coverage are outlined under the terms and conditions of our rental agreement. A copy of this agreement is supplied to the renter at the time of rental and is available anytime upon request.
